Orioles avoid arbitration with Andino

01/25/2012 - Baltimore, MD (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Baltimore Orioles have avoided arbitration with Robert Andino, agreeing to terms with the infielder on a one- year contract.

Andino, 27, hit .263 with five homers and 36 RBI in a career-high 139 games for the Orioles last season. He played four defensive positions, but spent most of his time at second base.

In parts of seven major league seasons with the Marlins and Orioles, Andino has hit .245 in 312 games, with a .302 on-base percentage and .331 slugging percentage.
